Ti funzionano le connessioni lo e WlanO, non eth0, a questo punto 
proverei a configurare manualmente la rete, devi avere l'indirizzo IP 
del tuo modem, il gateway, gli indirizzi dei server (te li fornisce il 
provider). Puoi farlo con >Computer>System configuration>Rete.

Devi anche abilitare alcuni moduli nel kernel; se guardi qua trovi molte 
informazioni:
