[ubuntu-it] HP Laserjet 1000

Ho provato ad installare hpoj per vedere se almeno con quello riesco a 
stampare ma al momento di configurare ottengo:

ma non ci ho capito niente.....
ho provato anche da cups ma la situazione non cambia, il driver 
utilizzato è HP LaserJet 1000 Foomatic/foo2zjs (recommended)
i job vengono messi in stampa in coda di stampa
La stampante però risulta sempre in STOP
nello stesso computer ho una epson 880 che stampa benissimo...

Qualcuno ha consigli in merito?
