Perhaps it would be wise to open #Ubuntu-LTS?

and looking at my Hardy laptop is different from my Lucid one. I think the
question here is, however, whether or not I am able to help a Hardy user. Do
we in fact have a problem with that on #ubuntu? Would it be helped by
creating #ubuntu-lts?
