Ubiquity Questions

Dear Sir or Madame:

I have been working on creating a completely unattended install of Ubuntu
Desktop 16.04.1 LTS . This has been an arduous process and I have completed
it, though not ideally.

My questions are:

*Packages*
According to this page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbiquityAutomation,
ubiquity ignores pkgsel, specfically d-i pkgsel/include string <list of
packages to install>, so what is the command in ubiquity that I should use
to install extra packages?
Or is there another way to install extra packages?

Since the preseed/early_command seems to be ignored and the only comparable
command I have found is "ubiquity ubiquity/success_command string
<commands>" and I have been unable to use apt-install, apt-get install, apt
install, /usr/bin/apt-get install, in-target apt install, or any of those
derivatives I am unsure how to get the extra needed packages.

Is there a list of ubiquity commands that are supported and work in Ubuntu
Desktop 16.04.1 LTS? I have searched but have been unable to find a
comprehensive list of all the ubiquity commands.

*Command (Early/Late)*
Is there a way to do an early command with ubiquity? If I needed to write
to /etc/resolv.conf so the installer can get the correct nameservers, how
would I accomplish that?

*Ubiquity Success Command*
Does ubiquity success_command support "in-target" and "apt-install"
prefixes in the command? Are there other prefixes or special commands that
I can utilize?

Any detailed information, documentation, or source code concerning ubiquity
would be great. I have used the following documentation so far:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbiquityAutomation
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/InstallCDCustomization
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-installer/ubiquity/trunk/annotate/head:/doc/README
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Installer/Development
https://blog.giuseppeurso.net/ubuntu-14-04-preseedlate_command-dont-work-this-is-why/

Thank you for any help.

Sincerely,

Brandon Authier
