problems recreating ubuntu ISO's from release ISO's

Hello,
I Mounted a Ubuntu release ISO (11.10) on loop-back, copied the
contents to a directory and tried to recreate the ISO with the command
mkisofs -R -J -hide-rr-moved -v -d -N -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 32
-boot-info-table -b isolinux/isolinux.bin -c isolinux/boot.cat -o
/home/code/fossee/LiveDVD/LP_Test.iso .
The only notable issue here might be that i am using an unpatched
mkisofs (of cdrecord tools, version 3.0).
The ISO does boot, but i get half a screen full of "unable to open
'/dev/zram0", finally i get dropped to a busybox shell with the
message, unable to find medium containing a live file system.

I get the same messages on both virtualbox and qemu ( that should rule
out unfamiliarity with interface, unknowingly loading wrong file, etc)

Am i doing something wrong here ??

Regards,
Harish
