*All* the other Intel machine (apart from the mentioned early macbook
editions) have either Nvidia or ATI chipsets and as far as I know they
all would require using vesafb =(

Update - 20090409
Not necessary to blacklist agp for later MBP nvida and IMAC radeon.
grub efi boot can run agp with ATI fglrx on IMAC81 for ubuntu 810, or
xorg radeon driver for ubuntu904, but only xorg fbdev for MBP nvidia.
For MacBook2,1 a special 'fix_video' hack enabled using intel_agp for
intel video chip (945,965) without blacklist.

It would be nice to have sample ubuntu live-cd's with grub-pc /
grub-efi and then to do community testing on all hardware that is out
there that can do grub-efi and fallback to grub-pc if it fails.

With intel macs the reports show that 64bit machines fail to load
32bit EFI firmware so 32bit images must be tested on 64bit machines as
well (is this even relevant nowadays to run 32bit on 64bit ??)
