error while using ubuntu-installer on other distro

Hi,

  This is sridhar, and iam using one distro which is based on debian,
for that i was tried to create the live cd based on ubuntu's
documentation from the following site

and i got suceeded.

After that i tried to create Live come install for the same distro
which is based on debian as well.And i followed the
LiveDesktopcustomisation documentation from the following site
" https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCDCustomization"
I installed ubiquity, casper, squashfs, unionfs on my distro and i
created live come install cd and it is booting fine.
But while trying to install the livecd from ubiquity, i got the
problem on where iam creating new partition by using manual option.
but for edit partion option it is working fine for which we should
have already created ext3 partition.

The problem is,  cannot create the new partition.

The difference is iam not getting the "Logical" variable, while
creating the new partition. can any body tell me, where i have to
