Preseeded mini.iso fails to install grub

Could you post /var/log/syslog from the installer, please? You can
extract it using the "Save debug logs" item from the installer main
menu.

(I suspect you may have failed to deal with the Release signature
properly, but the syslog should confirm or deny that.)
