I honestly don't think this belongs in Ubiquity; we want to keep it as
simple as possible (it's a major design goal), and cosmetic
customisations don't really fall within that goal, particularly not when
they can easily be achieved by running a separate program.
I also don't think that the typical user will care about the bootloader
during installation or know how to answer questions about it until after
the system has installed and they've got bored of the default behaviour,
at which point it's reasonable to have a straightforward way to change
it.
How about making it possible to run the bootloader manager (separately!)
from the live session after installation is complete?
