I shall look into your suggestion (Thank you) ..but this is aimed at promoting FOSS not *imposing* open standards. People who may not use OpenOffice would face trouble downloading and editing the form. On the contrary those with OpenOffice too can access *.doc file. <div>

attachments are in proprietary format - like the teaser video is in flv, the<br>
registrations forms and event plan are in doc formats.<br>

I am not criticising here but just giving a heads up. If you are among<br>
the organisers, you might want to change that or get it changed. At<br>
least the promoters of foss should avoid using closed formats as far as<br>
possible. :)<br>
