hii everybody..
i still haven't loaded ubuntu in my laptop.i need some help..
can i dual boot windows 7 and ununtu if i have only one hard disk
partition in my laptop??or do i need two partitons??

I am assuming here that you have already used Ubuntu in LiveCD mode and have liked it. If you hav'nt, pl do that so that you are sure you want to install ubuntu permanently on your system.

This is because, dual booting any two OS's will require a few learnings as to disk partitioning, boot loaders and such. If you decide to shrink your Win7 partition and make a new partition for Ubuntu, pl make sure you boot into Win7 atleast once after the partitioning is done to let Win7 write the changes to itself.

Also remember that dual booting can be tricky if you have to reinstall any OS.
