Sorry, but you probably can't solve this. A power failure while<br>
filesystem writes are going on can corrupt it, though machines<br>
should be less prone to this with a journalling filesystem. What<br>
filesystem was being used?<br>

It is also in general a bad idea to run fsck, and blindly answer<br>
'y' to all prompts. At this point, I think that you will need to<br>
reinstall the system. If /home was on a different partition, it<br>
might still be recoverable.<br>
