Hi<br><br>Seems like 9.04 is giving more than enough trouble. <br><br>Trying to be proactive i got my 9.04 machine onto a broadband connection and got it to update - first yesterday and then today<br><br>The first error<br>
i got <br>was<br>Error activating XKB configuration.<br>It can happen under various circumstances:<br>- a bug in libxklavier library<br>- a bug in X server (xkbcomp, xmodmap utilities)<br>- X server with incompatible libxkbfile implementation<br>
<br>X server version data:<br>The X.Org Foundation<br>10600000<br><br>If you report this situation as a bug, please include:<br>- The result of xprop -root | grep XKB<br>- The result of gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd<br>

<br>Unable to copy the user's Xauthorization file.<br><br>Openoffice opens .doc files but not .odt or .ods - says that the said file is corrupt and should it try and repair that and when i say yes all it continues to say "cannot repair"<br>
