I'm using Linux since last 3 years .. but first time I'm facing this
strange problem with Ubuntu 9.04 <i>Jaunty Jackalope</i>
(2.6.28-11-generic), that it recognise every CD and DVD as blank media
but in fact it contains the data and I'm also able to copy/run
software from that CD/DVD in other operating systems (e.g MS XP and
Fedora and redhat ). I'm using IBM Thinkpad R51 , what could be the
problem please help me if possible <br>

ok, so this bug is not solved yet... it is continue form hardy to
jaunty ...... let us hope it will be solved in next upcoming version
