I have issue with video driver. </div>To answer your II question first -Yes you can use these repository<br>
DVD's of 8.10 on 8.04 - when synaptic (or your package tool of choice)<br>
sees these DVD's it will ask you if you want to upgrade and you can<br>
choose to do an entire upgrade (advisable) or a selective package by<br>
package upgrade (troublesome)<br>

However what ever your H/W issues are with 8.10 will i think begin to<br>
appear with 8.04 upgraded via DVD's<br>
