And I have used a Nokia 2690 for over 2 years as well. Again out of the box
on most distros that have Network manager and nm-applet.

Even used it with Puppy, Linuxmint, LMDE, AntiX and quite a few distros.

As mentioned above, the battery does get affected as data drains it quite
fast, so you ned to use it while connected to both computer and charger.

One thing I have NOT been able to do is to use the phone for Bluetooth DUN.
Its always tethered by cable, which is a pain.
