[ubuntu-in] Looking for a Ubuntu Linux Compatible GSM Mobile phone (phone modem)

Hi

Am looking for a GSM Mobile phone - which has a modem that can be used  as
a GPRS / 3G phone modem .

The Nokia N series has them - and they work out of the box - but they are
quite expensive - so would appreciate any suggestions people might have.

Data Cards are good - but most don't have any linux support which means one
cannot access any of the response data that comes - like balance left,
usage etc - whereas in phone modems its possible to get this info.
