1. Click on the ubuntu logo in top left corner
2. you will see a text field, type 'driver' (without quotes) there.
3. It should show something like 'Driver Manager' or 'Hardware Drivers' in
applications list. Launch that application.
4. Check if it shows some driver (or firmware) for your wireless card and
check if it is active (green circle on right side).
5. If it is not active then try to activate it. Check if it still gives
problem and report the error here.

Note: You may need an internet connection when trying activate the wireless
driver as some packages may be downloaded.
