[ubuntu-in] Ubuntu 12.04 on Macbook Pro 5,1

dear all,

waited awhile to see the overall response on ubuntu 12.04, and unlike
its recent predecessors this one looks good.

want to install it on my macbook pro 5,1 (2008/2009) model. alas! the
ubuntu documentation has no specific install-documentation
and what works/does not work, on this model.

anyone here with some experience?
