just installed, seems nice
On that lines there is another tool called ZIm Desktop Wiki
http://www.zim-wiki.org
Its a journalling and planning tool, has some decent extensions, has
very good search functionality and has a very easy to use task list
for eg
to enable a trackable task all one has to do is
[ ] @foo - describe the task [d: 07/12] !!!
the first two characters [ and ] automatically make it a trackable
task, which when completed can be ticked or cancelled ( the rendering
is more fancy that
[ ] task
[*] completed
[x] cancelled
the @foo enable the last list to categorize the job into whatever
foo's you want to make them into
the [d: 07/12] is the due date - which pops up on the task list
the !!! (exclamation marks) indicate the priority. The more !'s the
higher up on the priority list.
the first 4 levels (no !, 1 !, 2 ! and 3 !) are color coded from no
color, yellow, orange and red respectively. However one can give as
many !'s as possible but the color above 3 will always be red
Zim has some nice extensions and after a bit of use it becomes
indispensible, like i said earlier as a regular note taking device to
a some sort of planner.
