[ubuntu-in] SCIM not able to activate in 11.10

I can open that file (hi.baraha.mim) no problem. But it is not clear to
me what modifications you want me to make once I open the file. I have
been using this very file for years in other computers, with earlier
versions of Ubuntu, and never had any problem with it. That makes me
think it may not be a problem with the hi.baraha.mim file itself, but
rather with how the new gedit or ibus or something in 11.10, is using
that file. I don't see any unnecessary spaces in the hi.baraha.mim file.
Please guide me further, so I can understand what you have in mind.

I can say further-- it problem I am seeing is not merely one of spaces.
If I type a word in Hindi, and follow it with a comma, the application
places the comma in the middle of the word I just finished rather than
at the end of the word. Like this--- "क्यों,कि" instead of
"क्योंकि,". And if I type an anusvar, then that appears after the letter
instead of on top of it. Like this--- "हू ँ", instead of "हूँ". So there
are multiple issues going on, to me it does not seem to be using the
hi-baraha.mim file properly.
