Neither Allan Pope nor Jorge Castro can help with that. 
Allan as a CC member could probably *comment* somewhere about it. But he
really has no jurisdiction over this..

But, why is this "issue" even being considered for Community Council?
Can't we just ask the team owner ?

We can ask just the team owner to close the team, team owner's have the
delete option from the team page : <https://launchpad.net/~TEAM/+delete>
