[ubuntu-in] Membership to ubuntu-in?

No they aren't part of Ubuntu-IN in any way (even though they claim to be
giving out @ubuntu-in email addresses and such.)

They are just examples of misguided efforts by Bhavani Shankar, just so that
he could sign off as team lead of those teams. (Which is why I didn't want
him involved in this effort.)

3 teams in two weeks.. and none of them made any contributions whatsoever.

As you can see the team has don't absolutely nothing ...

And he's created a forum which hardly anyone visits and questions remain
unanswered. So it's a bigger disservice to the community than not doing
something.

He'd also started an Ubuntu Karnataka team and in true coolbhavi fashion
signed off as team lead of the kannada translation effort when he had made
zero real contribution and there were loads of others actually working on it.

Focus your efforts on the Indian Loco alone and keep it active. And if
possible see if we can get those other groups disbanded.  We barely have the
numbers/strength to keep the momentum going for this, splitting up will
further dilute the situation.

While it is good to have groups for each language/state/city etc. If there
isn't enough local strength/support the groups will die away and it'll give
an overall impression of the local Ubuntu teams not being
popular/helpful/useful etc.

Even though we have a gazillion languages in the country when it comes to
translation the teams can help each other a lot with help about the whole
translation process/software used etc. Other than the Unicode strings
themselves everything else is common across languages.
