[ubuntu-in] not log in into pc

dear sir,
     i just installed kubuntu 10.10 in my pc. after installation i cant log
in pc .when i start the pc login page is coming and username already exist
and then i type password .then after one second i login in pc and then after
i come back at login page.so please help me.what i want to do for login to
pc.
