[ubuntu-in] Shutdown Problem in Ubuntu-10.10

Hello
As i press shutdown onUbuntu-10.10 runnimg in my Asus EEE netbook the
shutdown freezes as it displays the following message " Stopping Likewise
.... " and I have to power off. This happens every now and then but not
every time. Any clues please.
