[ubuntu-in] Installing components without internet connectivity

Hi,

I have installed ubuntu 10.04, on my machine. Now if smbdy can help me with installation of required components to update base system. I m nt able to play mp3,  videos system needs updation. But problem is tht I dnt hv net connectivity on ubuntu, hw can I get these required components frm net and install thm on ubumtu machine?
