[ubuntu-in] Screen Brightness problem

I faced similar problem with Ubuntu 9.10...but everything seems to be
working fine with Lucid Lynx....I have Dell Studio1555... The only problem I
face is that the ejection key doesn't work....

In my case the brightness key used to wrk just after booting but after a few
minutes they used to become inactive...I guess if u only want to change the
brightness to the minimum and not change it later...this might be helpful
