[ubuntu-in] 407 proxy authentication failure in Ubuntu software centre and IM even after applying systemwide proxy

Hi ,
         i have recently install ubuntu 9.10 .To update ubuntu i apply proxy setting in network proxy and synaptic manager also. Then i want to install Netbeans IDE for java . For that i open my terminal and write command sudo apt-get install netbeans ...But it says some error like this 407 proxy authentication failure .after that i open ubuntu software center to install same application but here also same message is being displayed.
      
          One thing i observe that i can surf the net using firefox and i can install plugins for songs like mp3, mp4, flv etc.
