[ubuntu-in] Ubuntu - Clipboard filling up automatically

I don't know exactly since when I m facing this but at least from ubuntu
9.04, it's there. My clipboard is automatically filled up with any page or
file I open, and it's completely random. Next time when I open a new
terminal by ctrl+shift+t or sometimes opening a file in vi, I find some text
of an email or web page, gets pasted into the terminal.

I don't know if other people are facing this problem or only me - This is
really weird.

Any workarounds?
