[ubuntu-in] Error in command grub-install

Hello Ravi.
Try this
1.boot using live cd
2.mount your linux root partition in /mnt
mount -t extX  /dev/sdaX  /mnt
3.now bind necessary system directories
    mount --bind /sys /mnt/sys
    mount --bind /dev /mnt/dev
    mount --bind /proc /mnt/proc
4.now chroot to /mnt
