Depends on what fonts

usually , if they are not available by apt-get or synatpice

then copy the fonts to a .fonts directory in your /home/user/ location

/user being your specific user name

to find the hidden or . directories use ctrl+h in your file browser

then make .fonts and voila it should work instantly
