Have been having this trouble regularly. Restarting X doesnt work. Only a
reboot works. Any other ideas, solutions and causes are welcome. Also I do
not use suspend or Hibernate nor have made any changes to the mouse
properties or pointer and use a regular 2button +wheel mouse with USB
connector.
