Hello All,

I have been trying for a couple of hours to connect to the internet using
BSNL EVDO recently purchased, on Ubuntu Karmic or MSWin7. I followed the
usual configuration for usbserial devices, that is, loading the usbserial
module with appropriate options from

Bus 003 Device 017: ID 19d2:fffe ONDA Communication S.p.A.

And so on. But everytime, I get the messages

Feb 22 01:10:32 uthink chat[2303]: ATDT#777^M^M
Feb 22 01:10:32 uthink chat[2303]: CONNECT
Feb 22 01:10:32 uthink chat[2303]: -- got it
Feb 22 01:10:32 uthink chat[2303]: send (\d)
Feb 22 01:10:33 uthink pppd[2301]: Serial connection established.
Feb 22 01:10:33 uthink pppd[2301]: Using interface ppp0
Feb 22 01:10:33 uthink pppd[2301]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/ttyUSB0
Feb 22 01:11:04 uthink pppd[2301]: LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests
Feb 22 01:11:04 uthink pppd[2301]: Connection terminated.
Feb 22 01:11:05 uthink pppd[2301]: Modem hangup
Feb 22 01:11:05 uthink pppd[2301]: Exit.

I tried with wvdial, gnome-ppp, pppconfig and so on, all with same results.
Any idea?

Any help will be appreciated.
