I agree with the fact that there are problems, but that he should take
24 hours to dismiss the OS is what is galling.

There are other folks who , on other sites have reviewed, similarly,
Linux OS'  after using them for varying periods of time and quite
clearly the more time they spend the easier it gets and the better
they like it.
