Go to System-->Preferences -->Keyboard --> Go to layout tab. You can view
the current layout. Add Hindi and view the layout

or

Go to System-->Preferences -->Keyboard --> General, Add hindi there and
Right click on panel select "*add to panel"* --> search for "*Keyboard
Indicator*" double click on it. Right click on it and select view current
layout.
