Hello Sivakumar,

Its possible to install Ubuntu within XP. wubi utility is available on
the Ubuntu CD.
At the time of installation select the maximum size of Ubuntu file to
some lower value (I choose 8GB).

That should be fine.

Also increase the 'time to display OS choice' to comfortable value
(say 3 seconds). My computer->properties->Advanced->Startup and
Recovery ->
