[ubuntu-in] Need some help -reg

Hello all,

This is Anurag Jain from SASTRA University and I'm a regular college
going student.
I've been using UBUNTU right from my first year, approximately 2 years and I am
very much interested in contributing to the open source world. We have an open
source community "GNU/LINUX open source @ SASTRA (GLOSS)" , which aims
at making the students to get to know various open source technologies
and making them to
contribute to this vast world.

As per now,I think I've got enough experience with UBUNTU that I am able to
use it as my primary OS on my machine and can solve various
troubleshoots by communicating
through various UBUNTU forums and mailing lists. Now I am interested
in getting into the regular development environment of UBUNTU and
I've been reading the various UBUNTU wikis for joining
the team. And I need some guidance for getting
start to working with the UBUNTU developers
and getting into MOTU team. Please send me the required information
and contacts to start with or if there are any pre-requisites.
I've intermediate skills in programming in C, C++ and Java. Also I've
worked with various open source
technologies like PHP, MySQL, Netbeans, Drupal etc.

I'm sure that I'll be able to make significant contributions
with your valuable suggestions and
guidance and eagerly await for response.

I hope to get a favorable respons.
