[ubuntu-in] Ubuntu Resolution

Hello,

I am using:

   - Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy).
   - AMD Athlon(tm) 7750 Dual-Core Processor
   - Asus M2N68-AM plus motherboard with NVIDIA GeForce 7025/nForce 630a
   - 2 GB RAM

Everything was working fine till yesterday(i was using resolution 1024 X
768), suddenly when i switched on my PC my resolution was changed to 640 X
480.
after editing xorg.conf & installing NVIDIA setting,  i managed to make it
800 X 600

What could have happened? (i have not messed with system, no new s/w or
hardware added)
Any Solution to make it to 1024 X 768?
