good idea

also found out a nice way

# sudo lshw -html > computerprofile.html

this generates a nice profile and tells quite a bit.

Seems my laptop maxes out at 2 gig

its a Lenovo t60 ??
so does the above information mean that i cannot go over 2 GIG ??
