[ubuntu-in] Hello - prblem with mouse configuration

Dear friends

I am a new user to ubuntu / Lnux Environment. I use a serial Mouse. But
while configuring my xorg.conf file it showed an error message - postint
overwriting error..backup........?
what should i do tomake my serial mouse work with ubuntu..?
I am a new user..
