Welcome to Ubuntu India Community. Looking at the ongoing thread as a 
response to your query, I just wanted to convey you the following,

[1] Please look at Mailing List Guidelines. This will help you in 
effectively communicating with people in any mailing list.

[2] When asking a questions, please give all possible information 
required to answer your questions. You can find this by trying to answer 
the questions yourself. It will let you know what information people 
really need to answer it.

[3] The fact remains that all places do not have a LUG. Even if they do, 
all LUGs are not active. Bihar might have a LUG but it might not be 
active. In such a case, you can join your nearest available "active" 
LUG. I would suggest you to try Mumbai LUG (glug-bom - 
http://mm.glug-bom.org/mailman/listinfo/linuxers) or Pune LUG 
(http://plug.org.in/mailinglist.php).

[4] You can also join IndChix which is an Indian version of Linux Chix, 
the exclusive group for Women in Linux and FLOSS.

Having given those details, I would like to remind that this is Ubuntu 
India mailing list and we would like our discussions to be centered 
around Ubuntu as much as possible. For general queries, it is better to 
join one of the above said mailing lists.
