Not sure if Bihar LUGis at fault - so since it may be sometime before
you get good support there lets go over your problem

And its not easy to download.

OK the Ubuntu DVD is different from the regular Ubuntu CD on only
*one* aspect - that is it contains all the language packs. The base
packages are the same as the DVD.

So if you have access to the Ubuntu CD it should be enough to get you
started. If after that you need to get access to some language packs a
not so fast internet will be able to do the job (though slowly)

However if you are really keen to get the Ubuntu DVD's (the entire
range of software for Ubuntu comes on 4-5 DVD's) you can choose to buy
them from the sites posted earlier or you can also look at this

Anoop John , zxyware, kerala is doing a wonderful service.
He downloads all the entire ubuntu repository and makes into DVDs.
