[ubuntu-in] Wireless LAN working but not Internet

Then it must be either DNS problem or gateway problem.

Try this:

   $ ping 208.67.222.222

If it works, then problem is with you DNS server.
To fix the DNS problem, edit /etc/resolv.conf and add the following lines.

# set name servers to Open DNS
nameserver 208.67.222.222
nameserver 208.67.220.220

If ping doesn't work, the the problem is with your gateway.
