Hi!

To upgrade with the alternate CD, follow these steps:

1. Mount the cd at /cdrom, with the command:
sudo mount -t iso9660 /path/to/cd/iso /cdrom

2. Change to the directory
cd /cdrom

3. Execute the upgrade script
sudo ./cdromupgrade

As mentioned by Shrinivasan in the above mail, the alternate iso is
necessary. The live cd iso can't be used to upgrade.

P.S.: A request to all posters to the mailing list. Please avoid
'top-posting'. It is really difficult to go through an entire mail,
just to find out that there are 3 unique mails, with 4 quoted replies.
:( It woul dbe really convenient for all if only the relevant portion
is quoted.
