[ubuntu-in] multiple lan problem

dear all
i have a desktop running in ubuntu 8.10

i have 2 networks.

1. for my office application to a LAN card have the following IP
address 192.168.1.7, subnet mask 255.255.255.0; default gateway -
192.168.1.1
2. wireless network through a USB wireless adaptor having the following IP
address 192.168.2.16, subnet mask 255.255.255.0; default gateway -
192.168.2.1. also, i am connecting to the internet using the same.

when i connect both the network together, the wireless network does not work
for internet.

i mean i can access the computer, but the internet will not surf.

can any1 help me in this regard.

what m i doing wrong??

PS .. this all started after i made a recent update to ubuntu 8.10.
previously, both networks were working perfectly (for 2 days).
