Yup correct. Download is better option. I suggest go for torrent
downloads because those are somewhat reliable.
Moreover I suggest checking out LinuxMint (http://www.linuxmint.com)
if you want to save yourself the trouble of installing multi media
codecs, flash, Java etc(which most, if not all, of us install anyway).
