[ubuntu-in] Sound / Video driver missing after vmware tool installed

Drivers missing from where? Guest Ubuntu OS?
And what do you mean by missing exactly.
1. No sound at all.
2. No GUI at all.

In case of '1' make sure you have configured vmware to emulate a sound card.
I can't help much in case of '2'.
