The below command lets you know whether your proc supports
Virtualisation Extension or not.

$egrep '(vmx|svm)' /proc/cpuinfo

If something like the below output is printed when you execute the
above command then, your proc supports KVM.

pat pse36 clflush dts acpi mmx fxsr sse sse2 ss ht tm pbe nx lm
constant_tsc arch_perfmon pebs bts pni monitor ds_cpl vmx est tm2

You can then start installing kvm and proceeding with other tutorials
available all over the net.
