No. It came with Vista - i formatted the Vista partition and put Ubuntu.
Dell also does release its own version of Ubuntu with some of its drivers
pre-loaded in there -- but I didn't need it really (and they force you to
download a DVD, which is not so nice). I remember having some issues with
the webcam - err.. sorry, I dont remember how I resolved that -- but no,
this was a fresh install - first of 7.10 and then of 8.04 - both of which
worked fine with wireless (except for the WPA issue, which seems to have
cropped up only in 8.04 (or something i did to fubar the gui .. ))
