[ubuntu-in] Theme-colour change

Dears
Suddenly this happened in my Ubuntu Ibex.
The desktop background theme got changed. Now the desktop and panel frames
look very solid and some of the icons too look rough and tough,
I feel a bit of uneasiness to work with this. There is a colour change on
screen and some theme changes. I tried to change the appearance using
system>preferences>appearances. But that doesn't make much a change.
Why this happens, any fix?
